Doctor Strange

NO spoilers here, but I just got back from seeing Marvel's Doctor Strange, and I thought it was great! The action was spectacular, and I thought that the humor was very well balanced with the serious moments. Benedict Cumberbatch was perfect in the role, after seeing him as this character, I can't imagine anyone else playing Doctor Strange.

For some reason, this movie kind of reminds me of some old sci-fi shows like Star Trek and Doctor Who, the type that play with complex speculative ideas, and aren't afraid to do so, or to make it too simple for the general public. Doctor Strange just throws stuff out for sci-fi fans to appreciate, and even if you don't understand the sci-fi talk and whatnot, at least you can still appreciate the colors and special effects. This will make more sense once you see the movie, especially towards the end.

 

If you like sci-fi, fantasy or superheroes, I would definitely recommend it.
